It’s no good swinging your hips in your snappy suit all on your own – why not take on a mate in some cool competitive rhythm challenges! There are eight multiplayer levels where you can face off against another boogie buddy, and for some of these, they don’t even need their own copy of the game!

Famous figures naturally accumulate fans, and being a famous thief is no exception! While you’re out and about in real life, you’ll exchange data via StreetPass with other people who are playing Rhythm Thief & the Emperor’s Treasure. The next time you’re wandering the streets of Paris in the game you’ll run into some new people, each one of whom will throw down with a musical minigame - if you can beat them, they’ll become bona fide fans and stay in your game!

If you accumulate enough of a following, you’ll notice that certain characters from the story will appear around the city too, with special rhythm challenges for you. There are several of these to unlock, so try to get plenty of fans via StreetPass!
